Monday Meditations with Wine What are Monday Meditations with Wine you ask? Monday Meditations with Wine began as a way to connect wine professionals through virtual means starting in 2020. The interview series was originated by JSU Graduate and Certified Sommelier Charles Springfield. Among his wine accolades, Charles is also an award-winning Journalist formerly of The Clarion Ledger in Jackson, MS, and the Times-Picayune Newspaper based out of New Orleans. In December 2021 Charles decided to step away from his Monday Meditations live stream to focus his attention on other avenues of his career and has passed the baton to BRAVO!’s very own Chuck Nix aka The Bearded Wineaux. Chuck joined the BRAVO! team in December 2021 as our sommelier and assistant service manager. Chuck is a Specialist of Wine with The Society of Wine Educators and a Certified Sommelier with The Court of Master Sommeliers and a southern hospitality veteran of 20 years and counting. Starting Monday, January 31st at 6 pm CST Chuck will host his first Monday Meditation with Wine. Monday Meditations with Wine will be a weekly live interview session highlighting hospitality, culinary, and beverage industry professionals from the American South. The southern gastronomic community is burgeoning and the roots run deep here. This weekly series is meant to shine a light on the enthusiastic, passionate, professionals in the south blazing trails in their respective fields. We are telling the stories of the south’s brightest in the hospitality industry. So, grab your favorite glass of wine and experience southern hospitality from your living room, office, dorm room, or wherever you please, every Monday at 6 PM CST on Facebook Live, with your host Chuck Nix aka The Bearded Wineaux.
